Play With Fire Rehearsal Studios is a trading name of Mindful Acting Ltd. All bookings and contracts are entered into with Mindful Acting Ltd trading as Play With Fire Rehearsal Studios. By booking a rehearsal space with Play With Fire Rehearsal Studios, you agree to the following terms and conditions:
1. Booking Confirmation and Payment
1.1 When you submit a booking request and provide your payment details, you acknowledge that this is a request, not a guaranteed reservation.
1.2 If your booking is accepted, we will immediately charge the full amount to the card on file and send a confirmation email.
1.3 This process operates similarly to the confirmation-required booking model used by platforms like Airbnb.
2. Refunds
2.1 All bookings are non-refundable.
2.2 We do not offer refunds for cancellations or no-shows, except in extreme circumstances, at the sole discretion of Play With Fire Rehearsal Studios.
3. Credit Policy
3.1 In certain circumstances, credit may be issued instead of a refund.
3.2 This will be determined on a case-by-case basis at the sole discretion of Play With Fire Rehearsal Studios’ operators.
4. Booking Confirmation
4.1 A booking is only confirmed upon receipt of payment and a confirmation email.
4.2 Until confirmation is received, your booking is not guaranteed.
5. Usage Policies
5.1 Play With Fire Rehearsal Studios operates as a self-use facility. There is no on-site receptionist, and all users are responsible for their own safety and conduct while on the premises.
5.2 Hirers must exercise reasonable care at all times and provide their own first aid provisions where required.
5.3 Clients must not use the premises for any unlawful, hazardous, or inappropriate purpose.
5.4 Open flames, alcohol or drug use, and glitter are strictly prohibited anywhere on the premises.
6. Hirer Responsibility and Insurance
6.1 All hirers are solely responsible for their conduct, activities, and use of the studio during their booking.
6.2 Where the hirer is an organisation, company, or group running classes, workshops, or rehearsals involving third parties, the hirer is required to maintain adequate Public Liability Insurance and, upon request, provide evidence of such cover.
6.3 Individual hirers who do not hold their own insurance expressly acknowledge and agree that they remain personally liable for any and all injury, damage, or loss caused to the studio, its equipment, to themselves or to third parties during their booking.
6.4 The studio’s insurance cover extends only to loss, injury, or damage arising from the negligence of Mindful Acting Ltd trading as Play With Fire Rehearsal Studios in respect of the premises and fixtures. It does not cover the hirer’s activities, negligence, or omissions.
7. Equipment Usage
7.1 No equipment within the studio may be moved, borrowed, or used except for: the speaker system, the television, and extension cords available in the main space.
8. Safety Instructions
8.1 After booking confirmation, you will receive videos explaining how to use heating and other equipment safely.
8.2 You must follow these instructions for the safety of all users and the space.
9. Security and Safety
9.1 Security cameras are installed throughout the premises.
9.2 Clients must adhere to safety guidelines and exercise caution at all times.
9.3 Access codes for the studio are private and must not be shared with any third party, including other participants in your booking. Any damage, theft, misuse of the space, or any other foreseeable incident that results from sharing access codes will be the full responsibility of the booking party, financially and otherwise.
10. Availability
10.1 We strive to accommodate all bookings but cannot guarantee availability.
10.2 We reserve the right to cancel or refuse bookings due to availability or unforeseen circumstances.
10.3 In such cases, payments made will be refunded or credited accordingly.
11. Changes to Bookings
11.1 Booking changes may be accommodated based on availability and at our discretion.
11.2 Additional charges may apply for rescheduling or extending confirmed bookings.
12. Code of Conduct
12.1 Clients must behave professionally and respectfully while on the premises.
12.2 Inappropriate or disruptive conduct may result in immediate cancellation of the booking without refund.
13. Liability
13.1 Mindful Acting Ltd trading as Play With Fire Rehearsal Studios is not liable for any loss, damage, or injury sustained during use of the facilities, except where liability cannot be excluded by law.
13.2 Clients are responsible for their own belongings and equipment.
14. Indemnification
14.1 By using our services, you agree to indemnify and hold harmless Mindful Acting Ltd trading as Play With Fire Rehearsal Studios, together with any affiliates, from any claims, damages, or liabilities arising from your use of the space.
15. Director and Officer Liability
15.1 All contracts, bookings, and agreements are made solely with Mindful Acting Ltd as the contracting entity.
15.2 No director, officer, shareholder, or employee of Mindful Acting Ltd may be held personally liable for any claim, loss, damage, injury, or legal action connected to the use of the premises or services, except where liability cannot be excluded by law.
15.3 Any claims or legal actions must be directed exclusively toward Mindful Acting Ltd.
16. Damage and Liability for Property
16.1 Clients are responsible for any and all damage caused to the premises, equipment, fittings, or structure of Play With Fire Rehearsal Studios.
16.2 This includes accidental damage, negligence, misuse, fire damage, or failure to follow safety instructions.
16.3 By booking, you agree:
• To cover the full cost of repair, replacement, or cleaning;
• That this includes labour costs, admin time, and reasonable compensation for lost time, including time spent by studio staff arranging or executing repairs;
• That Play With Fire Rehearsal Studios may charge your card on file without additional consent to recover these costs;
• That if the charge is unsuccessful or no card is available, you will pay the full amount within 7 days of receiving an invoice;
• That failure to pay may result in legal action and liability for any recovery or legal fees.

18. CCTV and Data Protection
18.1 CCTV is in operation throughout the premises for the purposes of security and the safety of clients, staff, and property.
18.2 Recordings are stored securely and retained for a maximum of 90 days. In practice, footage may be deleted sooner where no longer required for the stated purposes.
18.3 Clients and visitors have the right to request access to footage in which they appear. Requests must be made in writing to Mindful Acting Ltd trading as Play With Fire Rehearsal Studios at [email protected].
18.4 All CCTV processing is conducted in accordance with the Data Protection Act 2018 and UK GDPR.
19. Governing Law
These terms are governed by the laws of England and Wales.
Any disputes will be resolved in accordance with these laws.
